The 2.5-hour conference presented ongoing research and policy work on multiple exposures in environmental health, with a special focus on equity.

Main topics of the conference

The aim of the conference was to provide an arena for knowledge exchange between academia and the public sector, and to develop and promote national and international collaboration in environmental health.

We discussed how to address exposures to several environmental factors that affect health and wellbeing in an integrated way, both from a policy and a research perspective.

The conference was set around four main topics:

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Agenda 2030 as a tool for collaboration
  • Integrating equity in environmental health
  • Tools for and examples of multiple exposure assessments
