Travel information

We are working for an environment certified conference. Depending on where you travel from, please consider to take the train to Stockholm if possible. Train journeys allows you to both work and rest. Travel by airplane may not always be the fastest way if you include airport transfers, check-in, waiting time etc.

Take the train to Stockholm

The venue is located just by the metro station Skanstull. We have listed some examples on how to get from various city centers to the venue by train. Please see www.sj.se for more information.

Train from Oslo to Stockholm, Skanstull (metro station) 6 – 8 hours.
Compare the same distance by plane in total approximately 5 hours.

Train from Copenhagen to Stockholm, Skanstull (metro station) 6 hours.
Compare the same distance by plane in total approximately 4:5 hours.

Train from Gothenburg to Stockholm, Skanstull (metro station) 3:30 hours.
Compare the same distance by plane in total approximately 4 hours.

If you are traveling from other cities in Sweden, we appreciate if you follow the Public Health Agency of Swedens policy of always taking the train for trips below 500 kilometres. Thank you for your help!

If you need to fly there are excellent connections from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to the city center. You can travel with Arlanda Express or Airport Coaches. In the city you can easily connect to the metro. The metro station by the venue is called Skanstull.

Getting around Stockholm

When you are in Stockholm, there are many eco-friendly ways to get around. The venue is located close to the city center, other hotels and social venues and are within walking distance from each other. City bikes and public transportations are easily accessible. Several of the big Stockholm taxi companies have a very high proportion of eco-vehicles, please ask for one (if you need to take a taxi).
