The Public Health Agency of Sweden is an expert authority with responsibility for public health issues at a national level.

Suicide is a public health concern, and the Public Health Agency's role in preventing suicide is to coordinate efforts on a national level. We are also responsible for monitoring, and developing and disseminating knowledge to prevent suicide.

Most children and adults in Sweden report their health as good, but many also report recurring mental and somatic health problems such as headaches, feeling low and sleeping difficulties.

This report describes epidemiological and virological surveillance results for the influenza season of 2022–2023 in Sweden. Data are also compared to previous influenza seasons.

According to national representative surveys which have been conducted in Sweden, approximately one percent of men and less than 0.5 percent of women have tried anabolic-androgenic steroids at some point.
