Electronic cigarettes and refill containers intended for consumers on the Swedish market must comply with the rules in the Act on Tobacco and Similar Products and other relevant legislation. For example the CLP and Reach regulation.

In Sweden, herbal products for smoking are regulated by the Act on Tobacco and Similar Products. This legislation regulates for example reporting of ingredients, labelling requirements and smoke-free environments.

In Sweden, electronic cigarettes and refill containers are regulated by the Act on Tobacco and Similar Products. This legislation regulates for example product notification, annual reporting, product and labelling requirements, sales and marketing of electronic cigarettes and refill containers.

The Public Health Agency of Sweden compiles, develops and disseminates knowledge to support health promotion and preventive health work, in areas such as mental health, sexual health and lifestyle.
