Consumer sales of tobacco products

This information sheet is for you that intend to sell tobacco-products to consumers.

If you want to sell tobacco-products to consumers then you must apply for permit at your municipality before you start to sell those products. Under certain circumstances, you must instead notify it to the Public Health Agency of Sweden before you start to sell those products.

The information sheet summarises certain provisions that apply to the sale of tobacco-products to consumers. It is important that you as a retailer know all the rules that apply to your business.
