The high-containment laboratory at the Public Health Agency of Sweden in Solna is the only biosafety level 4 (BSL-4) facility in the Nordic countries and one of few in Europe. This brochure describes the facility and the services it provides.

In conclusion, closure or not of schools has had little if any impact on the number of laboratory confirmed cases in school aged children in Finland and Sweden.
