Rapporten redovisar resultat för SÄBO (kategorier mixat, demens, somatik, korttid och psykiatri) och LSS separat då populationen mellan dessa boendeformer kan skilja sig åt.

Rapporen presenterar resultat från 2016-års HALT-mätning av vårdrelaterade infektioner och antibiotikaanvändning inom särskilt boende. Årets resultat visar på en sjunkande andel vårdrelaterade infektioner generellt, men att antibiotikaanvändningen är oförändrad.

Metodbeskrivningen vänder sig till dig som praktiskt ska utföra mätning av vårdrelaterade infektioner, riskfaktorer och antibiotikaanvändning på särskilt boende.

Rapporten bygger i första hand på uppgifter insamlade från 11-, 13- och 15-åringar i november–december år 2001. Mer fördjupade analyser kommer att publiceras senare och de internationella resultaten publiceras i en separat rapport från WHO.

Denna rapport innehåller delar av resultaten från 2009/10 års undersökning och jämförelser med de föregående årens resultat, uppdelat på kön och ålder. Rapporten vänder sig till sakkunniga, praktiker och politiker inom området barn och ungas uppväxtvillkor.

Rapporten beskriver Sveriges långsiktiga och strukturerade arbete mot antibiotikaresistens, vilket är karaktäriserat av samarbete på lokal, nationell och internationell nivå mellan många discipliner och sektorer.
